The founder of the house, Sotirio Bulgari, lived in Greece, in his hometown Paramythia, where he worked as jeweler. He left his hometown in 1877 and first moved to Corfu and later to Naples. He moved to Rome in 1881 and started his own company in 1884.

Flagship store was not opened before 1905 by his sons, in Via dei Condotti, and it soon became very rich and famous. First international stores were opened in 1970 in New Yorku, Paris, Geneve and Monte Carlo. Bulgari had their own sales outlets (showrooms) in the Pierre Hotel in NY many years. The brand developed so much that nowadays it has over 230 stores all over the world.

Designer Bvlgari has 31 perfumes in our fragrance base. The earliest editions originate from 1992 and the newest ones from 2010. Bvlgari fragrances are made in association with perfumers Jacques Cavallier, Annick Menardo, Alberto Morillas, Jean-Claude Ellena, Sophia Grojsman, Beatrice Piquet, Olivier Polge, Carlos Benaim, Sophie Labbe and Nathalie Lorson.
